It is thursday, december 31, 2009 and the new year is peeking around the corner at all of us. as we look back at this past year, first of all i am thankful for my family. family is what gives us support in good times, sad times and stressful times. family can be extended to include others you hold dear. i am thankful for medical care that is so important to us. i am thankful for old age...i am approaching that milestone rapidly and some like nanny are already there at 92. i am thankful for friends. friends are the glue of everyday life. i am also thankful for decisions. decisions to be healthier, to be a better person, to enjoy what life flings at you. and i am thankful for people who do things i don't want to do or can't do any longer. best wishes for your end of the year reflections and the insights they produce. best wishes for 2010. as tiny tim said, god bless us everyone. miz b

well, here we are. second post of the first day of blogging. I treated liz, mcd and myself to a pedicure at our favorite nail spot, conyers nails next to the publix on 212. ever wondered what they are REALLY saying about you right under your nose and toenails? us too! but we are good customers at least twice a year and they like to see us~ we think! we have happy new year designs and are debating the chill factor of wearing sandals all week so we can admire our new artwork.

not sure how much or how often i will sit and detail my life to you, but for a while i will try and keep you up to date on all the news you never wanted to know.

we have enjoyed having liz, andrew and mary catherine with us for the holidays. it will be sad around here for a few days when they leave, but then the count down will begin again until the next visit in april.

until then, get your laundry done, the house neat and the black eyed peas on to soak. the new year is right around the corner. miz b
